Entrepreneurship Development Training Concludes at Pubali Bank in Chapainawabganj

The closing ceremony of a month-long 100-hour Special Entrepreneurship Development Training Program was held in Chapainawabganj under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. The training program was conducted under the overall supervision of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank and implemented through Pubali Bank PLC. The closing ceremony took place on Thursday morning at a hotel near Boro Indara Mor in Chapainawabganj town.
Certificates and awards were presented to the participants who successfully completed the training. The chief guest at the ceremony was Md. Masum Billah, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank and Program Director of the SICIP Project. The special guest was Mohammad Wasim, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank and Deputy Program Director of the SICIP Project.
Also present were Md. Mahbub Hasan, Assistant General Manager of the CMSME Division of Pubali Bank PLC, and Abu Zafar Md. Rakibullah, Assistant General Manager of the bank’s Rajshahi Region. The ceremony was chaired by Md. Sajidur Rahman, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Pubali Bank PLC, Rajshahi Region.
The speakers emphasized that such training programs play a vital role in creating skilled and innovative entrepreneurs, generating new employment opportunities, promoting the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and accelerating sustainable economic development. They encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training in their business ventures and establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. The program concluded with the distribution of certificates and honorary awards among the successful trainees.
