When we think about this universe, questions arise in our minds regarding its creation, beginning, and end. Concerning the origin of the universe, those who believe in the One and Only invisible Creator contend that in the beginning, there was only the Creator. Nothing existed before Him. He was alone. He existed without depending on anything, for He cannot be dependent on anything. If He were dependent on something, the existence of that thing would precede the existence of the Creator—which is impossible. He is self-sufficient and independent. Therefore, only the Creator’s existence was first; there was nothing before Him.

Then, by the supreme Creator’s will or command, creation began to come into existence—everything within this multiverse, or any other realms that may exist yet remain undiscovered, was created. This process of creation has been ongoing throughout cosmic time. The universe is expanding even today, and the Almighty Creator Himself manages all of it. Managing these realms, the heavens, the earth, and whatever lies between them, is impossible for anyone or any created entity other than Him. To Whom the kingdom belongs, His is the sovereignty, and His is the rule. The Almighty Creator is the King of kings; He regulates His creations.Once again, all of this creation will be destroyed at a time of His choosing and by His command. Nothing will remain. Even then, the Almighty Creator alone will remain. For this reason, the Creator is Eternal, having neither beginning nor end.

In the beginning, the Creator was hidden or unmanifested. At one point, He desired to manifest Himself. Subsequently, He initiated creation, bringing everything into existence gradually. In the Creator’s creation, there are immutable laws, as well as rules for its operation. The One who created also ordained the rules. He who can create everything does not need to rely on anyone for the rules or laws to govern it, nor is there any such need—He is Almighty and All-Knowing. Rather, everything in creation—including humans, inanimate matter, and living beings—is dependent on the Creator’s creation and His immutable laws. Indeed, if we exclude the creation and governing processes of light, heat, air, water, night, day, sunshine, rain, and so on, no creation—including human beings—can exist.

The laws, commandments, injunctions, and prohibitions of the Creator are unchangeable, eternal, and imbued with morality. There is no exception to His rules or systems. For instance, the occurrence of night and day and the movement of planets and stars happen according to the same law. The properties of water, air, heat, and light remain identical at all times and in all places, governed by the same principles. The life cycle, water cycle, animal kingdom, inanimate world, solar system, and all else operate by obeying the Creator’s immutable laws. In the created world, whatever has a beginning must surely have an end. Growth and decay, life and death in both the living and non-living worlds occur unfailingly according to the same laws. Therefore, His decrees regarding what is beneficial or harmful are inviolable and unalterable for humanity. Conversely, human-made constitutions and laws are incomplete, subject to change, temporary, and never timeless.

Guidelines on how human life should be led have been sent from the Almighty Creator to society through His chosen messengers or guides as needed over time. Fundamental instructions were provided therein on how human beings should relate to one another and to the rest of creation, as well as how they should act and behave. For example: believing in the Almighty Creator without seeing Him, surrendering to Him, serving, praying to, and worshipping Him, avoiding disobedience to His existence and laws, refraining from harming or killing anyone without just cause, respecting others’ rights, causing no harm to any creation, and so on. Creation must be utilized in accordance with the Creator’s laws without being arbitrary, and creation should be served. In this lies the opportunity for human beings to cultivate accountability in both lives (this world and the hereafter) and spiritual peace. As long as humanity adhered to these ordinances, they remained in a state of well-being; otherwise, they suffered harm. The history of human life bears witness to this truth.

Throughout the ages, the messengers and guides sent by the Almighty Creator made every effort to lead humanity toward following His divine laws for a beautiful and successful life. However, very few people listened to their words or advice. The majority refused to listen; instead, they opposed them, attacked them, expelled them from their homelands, and even attempted to kill them. Consequently, those nations or communities suffered severe punishment and were destroyed. With the evolution of time, people drifted away from divine ordinances or presented them in distorted ways, replacing them with self-invented rules or constitutions. In many cases, divine laws were mixed with human-made customs and policies. By applying these human-made constitutions and laws, humanity is failing to achieve the desired success and tranquility in life.

The Almighty Creator is the source of all knowledge. Humans practice that knowledge to build society and civilization, enriching human existence. The concepts of good and evil, civilization and barbarism, benefit and harm are not human inventions—nor can they be. They are derived from a divine source; humans enrich their lives by practicing the core principles of divine law, which are designed for ultimate well-being in all spheres—personal, family, social, political, economic, and beyond. The Creator knows where human ultimate welfare lies. Based on that knowledge, He prescribed laws for humanity, which are inherently eternal. Human-made constitutions and legal frameworks must be drafted in light of those fundamental principles to truly serve human well-being.

Humans can neither truly create anything nor permanently destroy anything. Man is himself dependent on nature, reliant on the Creator, finite, and mortal. Humans will be judged and will be held accountable. Humans can only practice and act upon the guidance received from the divine source and what exists in nature to bring about beneficial changes, and this is the desired path and goal for humanity.

Across all times, places, societies, and people in the world, the law of the One Creator is uniform, immutable, and imperishable. Divinely ordained standards of equality, fairness, equity, justice, and humanity are identical under all circumstances. The Creator is impartial, a just Judge, and equally merciful and benevolent to all parts of His creation; He makes no discrimination, and there are no exceptions to His rule. He sees all time—past, present, and future are all visible and present before Him. His laws given for the welfare or harm of human life apply equally across all eras.

However, over time, misdirected humans and societies drifted away from that divine truth and ideal. By adding and subtracting their own opinions, interpretations, and analyses to divine laws, they created various doctrines, paths, religions, and ideologies. They drafted constitutions and laws for governing society, which differ from one society to another. Humans have been granted the freedom to follow different views, paths, and religions, as well as the freedom to accept or reject the Almighty Creator’s commands. People may choose the path of theism/belief or atheism/unbelief. However, among all creation, humans alone have been endowed with a conscience to discern good from evil. Humans were sent to earth as a test—to see who performs good deeds and obeys the Almighty Creator’s guidance. Humans were not sent, nor given authority, to formulate new laws according to their whims. Humanity has been forbidden from transgressing bounds, yet throughout history and into the present day, people continue to do so.

Humanity has strayed from the worship and servitude of the One Creator, misleading society by declaring forbidden things permissible. Inherently weak, humans made the mistake of attempting to construct alternative systems to the Creator’s divine law, despite believing themselves to be correct. Consequently, every individual will face the outcomes of their actions. These self-crafted laws, divorced from divine guidance, have failed to deliver an ideal society in this life, depriving humanity of the expected level of welfare, benefit, and happiness. They have failed to establish peace, order, human liberation, and true progress, because human-made philosophies, laws, and regulations can never serve as a substitute for the Almighty Creator’s divine system of life.

We know that under divine law, if someone steals another’s property in society, the prescribed penalty is the amputation of the hand. The results observed in a society where this punishment is enforced versus a society where human-made lenient penalties are applied are entirely different. When divine law is implemented, hand amputation acts as a deterrent, preventing people from committing theft out of fear. On the other hand, in systems with lenient, weak, or mild human-devised punishments, theft remains persistent. Divine law mandates proportional justice—a life for a life, a hand for a hand, an eye for an eye (retribution matching the deed)—imposing a punishment equal to the severity of the crime committed. At the same time, it provides provisions for accepting compensation, reaching a compromise, or pardoning the offender. The Almighty Creator instituted severe penalties for crimes precisely for the welfare of individuals and society. However, by altering these penalties, humans have disrupted justice and good governance in society.

The All-Wise, All-Powerful Creator has forbidden usury (interest) and permitted business, encouraging it, while strongly inspiring philanthropy, assistance, charity, and donations. He discouraged stinginess. Human experience confirms that interest is extremely detrimental, whereas trade, charity, and philanthropy are beneficial. Similarly, bribery and corruption are forbidden, and practical experience shows that these destroy societies, nations, and economies. Marriage is permitted, whereas extramarital relationships and obscenity are prohibited; here too, human experience demonstrates that immorality destroys society and that transgressing boundaries is harmful.

Today, humans demand sustainability in everything. Yet the Creator had originally arranged everything in a perfectly sustainable manner. In the creation of the moon, earth, sky, outer space, and universe, there was no flaw. The Almighty Creator challenged humanity to look repeatedly at these creations to find any flaw, assuring them that they would find none. However, ignoring the Creator’s guidance, humans mistreated nature and dealt unwarranted harm to it. Unchecked industrialization and excessive carbon emissions damaged the ozone layer. Forests, rivers, streams, oceans, mountains, and plains—humans left nothing intact. Today, they have brought about climate and environmental disasters. Driven purely by conflicts of self-interest, humans created deadly weapons up to the atomic bomb, despite having no real need for them. They disobeyed the Creator’s commandments. Now, shouting for sustainability or peace yields little result. Thus, wherever the Almighty Creator’s laws were ignored, chaos and destruction ensued.

In this manner, He prohibited everything harmful to human life while specifying severe punishments and consequences. Unfortunately, humans are often drawn toward those very harmful actions. Raising excuses like “demand of the times,” “modernization,” “human needs,” and “reality,” modern society indulges in these prohibited matters without realizing the consequences, abandoning firmness in favor of leniency. As a result, flawed human-made laws have replaced effective divine legislation in social life, producing deeply disappointing outcomes. Humans, with their limited knowledge and capacity, could not deviate from divine laws if they truly possessed firm faith in the infinitely powerful and All-Knowing Creator.

In reality, the Almighty Creator prescribed severe and appropriate punishments specifically to prevent crimes in society. But humans, instead of implementing them, instituted punishments of their own design. Consequently, controlling crime in society has become impossible. Essentially, what the Almighty Creator knows, humans do not know. Divine law is the true benchmark of justice, good governance, and human development. In reality, however, different societies introduce alternative penalties in human-made laws under the pretext of “public will,” which fail to ensure fitting justice for crimes. Because of this, establishing social peace has proven impossible, while crime and disorder continue to escalate. In effect, no one can have a better intent or idea for human welfare than the Creator’s intent; hence, alternative human-made systems remain ineffective in curbing crime and establishing peace in society.

Actions forbidden in divine law—such as usury, bribery, corruption, looting, intoxication, murder, rape, and obscenity—are often prohibited in human-made laws as well. However, in human systems, the degree of punishment and the implementation process for curbing these crimes are weak and sluggish. It is precisely here that the harm to society lies. Across nations, human-made legal systems are not as simple, just, precise, rigorous, and effective as divine law in addressing socio-economic inequality, justice, order, protection of life and property, preservation of rights, or crime prevention. The constitution, laws, and regulations of our country are a blend of divine law and human-made legislation. Here too, arguments such as modernization, alignment with the times, public will, and practical reality are presented when formulating laws. The key point of consideration is whether the Creator’s intent for human welfare is actually being fulfilled through these laws, and whether policies, penal determinations, and enforcement in political, social, and economic spheres align with that intent. The disparity between these two systems constitutes the primary obstacle to achieving peace, relief, prosperity, and well-being in society.

In conclusion, for those who firmly believe in the One and Only Almighty, All-Knowing, invisible Creator, constitutions, laws, and regulations across all spheres—personal, family, social, political, and economic—must be derived solely from divine law; there is no scope for deviation. If human life is to be made genuinely safe, happy, and beneficial, the effective implementation of divine law sent by the Almighty Creator—rather than human-made laws—is the best approach. It is timeless and continuously relevant, with no alternative. For the Creator of human beings knows what is best for humanity, not humans themselves.
