Awami League nominated boat symbol candidate has won in 4 out of 5 constituencies in Sunamganj district. Only Sunamganj-2 independent candidate of Kanchi symbol is the current Member of Parliament Joya Sengupta was elected.

Sunamganj-1: Total 168 polling stations in Constituency. Advocacy Ranjit Sarkar is the candidate for the boat symbol nominated by Awami League ahead of the private results. Received votes 1 lakh 9 thousand 98. The closest rival is incumbent MP Moazzem Hossain Ratan, who is an independent candidate of Ketli Pratika who has been deprived of nomination. Received votes 46 thousand 780.

Sunamganj -2 :Total polling stations in constituencies are 111. The current member of parliament who is deprived of independent candidate nomination in the private results. Joya Sengupta.
