Janmashtami celebration of Sanatan Dharmalambi in Rajbari

Keeping the slogan of “Dharma Jaar Jaar Utsav Sabar” in front of this slogan, the auspicious advent of Sri Krishnar Punyatithi and Janmashtami of Sanatan Dharmalambi were celebrated in Baliakandi of Rajbari district with great enthusiasm to inspire the people of Bangladesh in non-sectarian spirit.
On this occasion, on Wednesday morning, Baliakandi Mahashwashan and central temple organized a visit to different temples of the upazila at Swashan Ghat of Baliakandi Sadar, a colorful rally and a Mangal procession and a discussion meeting was held. At that time, their slogan was “Religion belongs to everyone’s state”. After circling the different roads of the upazila, the colorful procession again went to the Baliakandi Puja temple and met in a discussion meeting.
The discussion meeting was chaired by Babu Jagesh, President of Baliakandi Mahashwashan and Central Temple, and Senior Joint General Secretary of Rajbari District Awami League Sheikh Sohel Rana Tipu was the chief guest.
Present as special guests were: Chairman of Baliakandi Sadar Union Alamgir Biswas Alam, Member of District Awami League Harunor Rashid Manik, Convenor of Baliakandi Volunteer League Parvez Ahmed, Member Secretary- Raju Ahmed and others.
In the speech of the chief guest in the discussion meeting, Sheikh Sohel Rana Tipu, Senior Joint General Secretary of Rajbari District Awami League, said that today is Happy Janmashtami. It is the birthday of Lord Krishna, the progenitor of Sanatan Dharma and the great hero of Mahavatar. Followers of Sanatan Dharma in the country celebrated the day with religious solemnity and joyous festivities. It has been observed in Baliakandi of Rajbari. And he wished everyone a happy Janmashtami.
Note: According to Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna was born on the eighth tithi of Shuklapaksha in the month of Bhadra. As Sanatan Dharmalambi believed, when brute power rose to devour justice, truth and beauty, Lord Krishna of Mahavata appeared to subdue that power and establish justice and welfare for mankind. Their belief is that this is how God descends from time to time to suppress evil and establish truth and beauty.
