A group of robbers stabbed drivers and laborers in Shaistaganj Puran Bazar area of Habiganj in the afternoon and took away everything. They were rescued and admitted to Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
The injured are driver Abdul Hannan son of Abdul Awal of Biramchar area and laborer Ujjal Mia son of Malai Mia of the same area.
It is known that they went to the Chowdhury petrol pump in the area to fill the car with oil at around 4 pm on Wednesday. They left the car and wandered around. At that time 5/6 people including Salman Mia, Suman Mia, Latif Mia came and stabbed them and ran away with cash and valuables.
Local people rescued them and admitted them to Sadar Hospital. However, the gang has been known to have committed several incidents in various areas including highways for a long time.
