10 poles of stolen Shaistaganj rural electricity have been recovered from Asad Miar’s saw mill in Sutang Bazar. There has been an uproar everywhere about this incident.
On receiving information from a secret source at the sawmill in Sutang Bazar yesterday at around 9 o’clock on Wednesday night, police and rural electricity personnel raided and recovered these poles. At this time, Asad Mia got stuck. When Khuti was brought to the police station, a group is trying to cover up the matter.
It is known that a gang has been stealing transformers and poles from Shaistaganj and surrounding areas for a long time. Yesterday, those logs were cut in a saw mill and tried to sell them elsewhere.
Shaistaganj police station OC Nazmul Haque Kamal told CNBangladesh that the sticks have been brought to the police station. Investigation is ongoing. Legal action will be taken later.
