The police did not take a case in the case of burning the excavator in Jaintapur, Sylhet. It caused a stir. It has been reported that a hired excavator machine was cutting the soil on the south side of Kashimul Ulum Hemu Nayapara Velopara Madrasa of Fatehpur Union No. 5 of Jaintapur Upazila. On the night of April 25, that is, around 3:30 a.m. on April 26, 2-3 miscreants poured kerosene on the excavator and set it on fire using a stick. In this, most of the parts of the excavator machine were burnt to ashes. Currently, he and his family are suffering from extreme insecurity. He also said that the investigating officer advised him to file a case in court. The police also clarified that they will not be able to take the case under the pressure of the alleged influential person. Sources confirmed that the court has taken cognizance of the case and directed the Sylhet PBI for a proper investigation.
