President goes to Saudi Arabia tomorrow to perform Hajj

President Mohammed Shahabuddin will fly to Saudi Arabia tomorrow to perform the holy Hajj as a royal guest of the Saudi government. A VVIP aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (Flight No: BG 331) carrying the President, his wife Dr Rebecca Sultana and other entourage members will leave Hazrat Shahjalal (R.) International Airport at 2:30pm on the day. According to the schedule, the Head of State will land in Jeddah at 6:30 pm (Bangladesh time). During his stay there, the President will reside at the Al Safa Royal Palace in Makkah. On the completion of all the Hajj procedures, President Shahabuddin will go to Madinah on July 1 to visit the Rawja of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). After a 10-day visit to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and Ziarat, the President will leave for Dhaka on July 2 from Madina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport by a VVIP aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (Flight Number: BG338). The President is expected to return to the country on July 3.
