445 pairs of plastic high-low benches were distributed to 30 secondary schools and madrasas of Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia district under the upazila management and development project on Thursday March 21, 2024 with the funding of JICA project and the cooperation of upazila parishad.

Kumarkhali Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Abdul Mannan Khan was present as the chief guest, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Mahabubul Haque presided.

Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md Saidur Rahman, Upazila Engineer Md Abdur Rahim, Upazila Development Facilitator Biplab Kumar Saha, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Kazi Ejaz Kaiser were present as special guests. 30 heads of institutions were present in the event. Kumarkhali Upazila Parishad is implementing the sub-project procured by ODA Loan as a symbol of friendly cooperation between the Governments of Japan and Bangladesh.
