Well-known film fest in USA “Video content fest 3 Generation”. Those who do visual work on human rights violations for their country and the world and influence people to change to build a healthy world and a healthy social environment. Like every year, this year “3 Generation” organized their festival, but among 141 films, 11 films were shortlisted, then the 3 and a half minute experimental film “HIV Girl” made by Rownacur Salyhen represented Bangladesh. Not only that, this film of Rownacur won the audience choice award through 11 films. On May 25, among the total of 11 films from Canada, UK, Turkey, France, Italy, Ukraine, Romania, Palestine, South Korea and Bangladesh, one was given the audience award and that is the film “HIV Girl” Directed by Rownacur of Bangladesh. The film depicts a girl living with HIV, where she narrates her own story through painting. And why he is infected with HIV is also explained through detailed painting. The three and a half minute film is made with horror suffocation BGM and weird sound design. Noor E Jannat worked as the painting artist of the film and Tahamina Haque any acted. Apart from screenplay, cinematography, post-production, the film was directed by Rownacur Salyhen. Rownacur Salyhen said, “It’s really a joy for a filmmaker to win an award abroad, and if it’s an audience award from a country like the US, it really adds to the joy. A small message of my film based on abstract and abusive photo painting portraits is that people can survive with many diseases in the body if their mental strength is strong, if that disease is HIV. Currently Rownacur Salyen is a young filmmaker from Bangladesh. Apart from film production, he is working as cinematographer, screenwriter, lyricist and writer. Currently his films are showing in OTT of the country. He is also working as a facilitator and curator of various film festivals.
