During the inauguration of the building in Ramu Upazila Muktijoddha Complex and exchange of views with the freedom fighters, Minister of Liberation War A,K,M Mozammel Haque said that under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the unarmed Bengalis liberated Bangladesh by fighting for 9 months in 1971. The freedom fighters of this country are the best. When the power of the supporters of independence is in power, the state develops, the fate of the people changes. After 1975, the anti-independence evil forces repeatedly grabbed the sacred red and green flag of independent Bangladesh.  Under the leadership of the heroic freedom fighters, the state has kept the power of the freedom fighters in power by breaking all the conspiracies. That is why the government of Bangabandhu’s daughter, the national hero, Sheikh Hasina, is playing a role in improving the living standards of the freedom fighters through extensive welfare activities including allowances for the heroic freedom fighters.  Ramu Upazila Muktijoddha Bhavan inauguration and exchange of views with brave freedom fighters at 11.30 am on Sunday, May 28 said these words in the speech of the chief guest.  In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Ramu Upazila Executive Officer Fahmida Mustafa, Alhaj Saimum Sarwar Kamal, Member of Parliament of Cox’s Bazar 3 Constituency, Bibhisha Kanti Das, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar, Ramu Upazila Parishad Chairman Sohel Sarwar Kajal spoke on behalf of the freedom fighters.  Freedom Fighter Abu Ahmad, Freedom Fighter Zafar Alam Chowdhury, Freedom Fighter Nurul Haque Chairman, Freedom Fighter Nurul Absaar Chairman were present.
