President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has gone on a surprise visit to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia hosted a summit of the Arab League this year. In the meantime, Zelensky is visiting the country, Aljazeera reported.

In a tweet on Friday (May 19), Zelensky wrote, I have started my first visit to Saudi Arabia to strengthen bilateral relations and Ukraine’s relations with the Arab world.

Zelensky said that he will discuss with Saudi Arabia about the Crimean and temporarily occupied territories, return of the Ukrainian people, peace agreement and energy cooperation.
