Awami misrule, the killer of democracy: Left alliance
The country must be saved from Awami misrule, which is the killer of democracy, and at the same time struggle to change the system. That is why the leaders of this alliance called upon the people to strengthen the Left Democratic Alliance.
The speakers said these things at a rally held at Railway Gate No. 1 of Gaibandha town on Friday (December 30). They said that the government came to power through unprecedented vote robbery in the national parliament election on 30th December 2018 and is doing one after another anti-people activities. Money laundering abroad, looting everywhere, record rise in commodity prices have made life miserable. At the same time, they are conspiring to come to power in the next national parliament elections in an undemocratic way.
The Left Democratic Alliance, Gaibandha District Branch held a protest march and rally demanding 10-point demands including the dissolution of the Parliament and the holding of the upcoming National Assembly elections under a neutral oversight government, the return of smuggled money abroad. District Basad convener Golam Rabbani, District Communist Party general secretary Mostafizur Rahman Mukul, Basad Marxist district leader Kazi Abu Rahen Shafiullah and others spoke in this rally. The rally was moderated by the Assistant General Secretary of CPB Ad. Murad Zaman Rabbani and others.
Among others, Central Committee of Bangladesh Communist Party Assistant General Secretary Mihir Ghosh, District Basad (Marxist) convener Ahsanul Habib Sayeed were present.
Later, a protest march circled the city and ended at the railway gate.
