Habiganj District Lawyers Association election has gathered. There is a festive mood in the court neighborhood surrounding the election. Candidates are soliciting votes from voters. Total voters are 633. Polling will be held continuously at the head office of the association from 10 am to 4 pm on April 13. Advocate Abdur Rauf will serve as Chief Election Commissioner.

Special PP and former president Abul Mansoor and Safiqul Islam will contest for the post of president, advocate Abdus Sabur Tarafdar Babul and Sharadindu Bhattacharya Tutul for the post of vice president, present editor Abdul Moshabbir and Gias Uddin Chowdhury Bakul for the post of general secretary, joint secretary (Criminal). Mizanur Rahman and Kamrul Islam Chowdhury, Sports and Social Welfare Secretary Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury and Ashiq Mia. Apart from this, candidates will compete for other posts. April 4 is the last day for nomination papers verification, selection and April 5 withdrawal.
