Awami League is using law and order forces as party forces: Dr. Jahid
Sylhet Bureau/
BNP Vice Chairman Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said, this Awami League government is using the law and order forces as party forces. The government is also afraid of the peaceful stay program announced by the BNP centre. So the law and order forces have prevented the program from being carried out. The government did not stop oppressing political leaders and activists of opposing views. The sword of oppression of the government has also come down on the media for revealing the truth. Seeing the position of the patriots on the streets for the restoration of democracy and the establishment of voting rights, the ground under the government’s feet has shifted. No matter how much tyranny, oppression and conspiracy, the end of the government will not be saved. No more national elections will be allowed in the country without a neutral caretaker government. If the people’s government is established, the ruling Awami League will have to answer for all its misdeeds.
He said that the fascist government has no concern about the suffering of the people as it is not elected by the people. They know that Awami League will never come to power with the people’s vote. So, to take revenge on the people, the government is increasing the price of electricity abnormally. Already due to the government’s boundless failure and corruption-looting in the administration of the country, people’s life has become miserable due to the increase in daily commodities. The patriotic crowd will not let the fascist dream of coming to power by stealing votes come true. The sooner the ruling government dissolves the current parliament and accepts the 10-point demands announced by the BNP, including holding elections under a neutral neutral government and Khaleda Zia’s unconditional release, the better it will be for the government. Otherwise the government will not find an escape route.
He said the above in his speech as the chief guest at the location program organized by Sylhet Metropolitan BNP as part of the central program of BNP at the Central Muslim Literary Parliament premises in the city on Saturday afternoon.

In the end, the program was celebrated in front of the Central Muslim Sahitya Sangsad Bhavan, ignoring the police barriers.
