Extrajudicial killings are happening again against that RAB: Fakhrul
Dhaka/
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir complained that extrajudicial killings are happening again in the country.
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the ‘Muktijoddha Mass Rally’ organized by the Jatiyatavadi Muktijodha Dal at the Engineer Institution Auditorium in the capital on Monday (March 27) afternoon.
Mirza Fakhrul said that a woman died after being picked up by RAB in Naogaon. The doctor says that the dead woman has injuries on her head. RAB, which was sanctioned by the US which is a shame for us, is again being accused of extrajudicial killings. Extrajudicial killings, which had dropped dramatically after the ban, are now starting to happen again. Because those who have been sanctioned have been rewarded, not punished.
Claiming that there is no difference between the present Awami League government and the Pakistani government of 1971, Mirza Fakhrul said that the current government in Bangladesh is the ghost of the Pakistan Army of 1971. They don’t think about common people, their true mask was revealed in 72. The Awami League thinks they fought alone, that’s why they don’t remember the names of Fazlul Haque, Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy, General Osmani, the commander-in-chief of the liberation war. He does not want to pronounce the name of freedom fighter Ziaur Rahman but blames him more.
He said, it is being said that economy has become a role model in the country, not economy, but the economy is going on, through which the country is being destroyed. It is said that the growth is happening, the growth is happening and the fingers of the Awami League leaders are turning into banana trees. The factory is about to close.
BNP Secretary General said, Awami League’s job is to cheat. In 2008, 10 taka rice was mentioned, now what is the price of rice? They are talking about Ukraine Russia war, not war but Awami League’s failure and their corruption to increase commodity prices. They say, so much improvement is not seen with the eyes, but the stomach of the common people has not improved. The house gave two or three days in a row, the house collapsed and it was reported in the newspaper. The Padma Bridge has been increased from Tk 10 thousand crore to Tk 30 thousand crore. Now, less than a year later, the road has been closed again and the repairing of Padma Bridge has started. In every case they are corrupt. Destroyed health sector, education sector.
Mirza Fakhrul commented that dialogue is being played by destroying the election system and said, “We have not decided on this yet.” We will not have a dialogue without a caretaker government on the electoral system.
Mirza Fakhrul also complained that the government is not recognizing those involved in BNP politics as freedom fighters.
Standing committee member Mirza Abbas said, Awami League is chewing freedom. Independence is not working for the people of Bengal. Lemon juice is 100 taka, green chillies are 300 taka per kg.
He said that some people are trying to become rich abroad by making rich Bangladesh poor. The day the Bangladesh Awami League does not exist, the face of Bangladesh will change.
