BNP National Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that the role of professionals in politics is very important. A bridge between people and politicians is created through professionals. 65 percent of voters in Bangladesh are young. These youth should be made aware of the 27 points of repairing the state structure. To lift the country out of the pit it has fallen into today, proposals have been made to repair the state structure. Today the state has no human rights, no voting rights, no freedom of speech, no security of life.

The constitution has been turned into a party document to secure power. After the departure of the fascist government, the people’s government will be established in the country. It is then essential to repair the state structure to ensure good governance to the new government. This framework for repairing the state structure has been prepared after a long study keeping in mind the policy of BNP to manage the country after the exit of the fascists. A bicameral parliament will be established if BNP comes to power to ensure good governance. There will be upper rooms and lower rooms.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the explanation and analytical discussion meeting titled ‘Ruprekha for state structure repair’ at a hotel at Dargah gate of the city on Tuesday afternoon under the initiative of Sylhet district BNP.

He also said that if the national elections are held and the parliament is retained, the control will be in the hands of the government. This method will not create a level playing field. Therefore, it is essential to dissolve the parliament three months before the national elections. But it has been excluded from the constitution. In order to formulate a people-friendly constitution, changes must be made in the constitution.

He said that those who are in power are not elected by the people, so it cannot be called government. The government is elected by the people. Awami League seized power and killed hundreds of our leaders and activists. False and absent cases have been filed in the name of 35 lakh activists. Even after that, BNP is doing peaceful democratic movement. Because BNP does not want chaos in the country, BNP wants peace.

The former minister said that everyone is watching what is happening in the judiciary today. Where the Chief Justice is forced to resign, justice cannot be dreamed of. We have talked about setting up a Judicial Commission for the independence of the judiciary. They will seize power unjustly, run the country unjustly. Its name is Awami League.

Under the chairmanship of Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury and moderated by General Secretary Advocate Emran Ahmad Chowdhury, advisors to BNP Chairperson Ismail Zabiullah and Khandkar Abdul Muktadir spoke as special guests.

Sylhet Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Imdad Hossain Chowdhury gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the meeting which was initiated by Koran recitation by District BNP Assistant Secretary for Training Zaheed Ahmed.

In the speech of the special guest, BNP Chairperson’s adviser Ismail Zabiullah said that democracy is essential for people’s freedom of speech. People have no confidence in the electoral system. The country’s economy has been destroyed. The judicial system has been destroyed. What has happened in the Supreme Court in recent times is shameful. After all, the state structure has collapsed. Repairs are now essential. The constitution of Bangladesh is not in the same place as before. The constitution has been scrapped. The constitution is said to be unamendable, it is immoral. Everything changes with time. The impasse that has occurred in the health sector would not have been felt if it had not been for the corona virus. There has been a scandal over vaccines. The education system has been destroyed. Immunity Act has been enacted before looting in electricity sector. No question can be raised about looting of power sector. Thousands of crores of rupees have been looted in the name of capacity charges. The looted money was smuggled abroad. Journalists’ voice has been stifled by the Digital Security Act, the media is not able to work independently. If BNP comes to power, these black laws will be abolished. Acting Chairman of BNP, Tariq Rahman, has given the framework for repairing the state structure in this difficult time of the country, if it is implemented, it will reach the desired goal in the country. The proposal calls for securing the rights of all, decentralizing power, bringing in new leadership to run the country. The Prime Minister, who is clinging to power, said that he wants to get his Epsilute. And BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman said, he wants decentralization of power. From this it can be understood that BNP does not believe in power, BNP believes in the development of the people.

In the speech of the special guest, BNP Chairperson’s advisor Khandaker Abdul Muktadir said, why it is necessary to repair the country after so many years of independence, it should be understood. Several other countries became independent with us at about the same time. Where are we compared to those countries? Why this fate of our country? The normalcy that was given to the state in the last 15 years should be brought back. As a nation we are lagging behind, now we have to propose to repair the state structure. This proposal is very timely. There is no option but to implement it.

In the president’s speech, Sylhet district BNP president Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury said that the structure of the state has collapsed today due to reckless looting of Awami League. As a result, it is essential to repair the state structure. So, to save the country, to save the people of the country, we have to implement the 10-point movement program and implement good governance in the country by repairing the state structure announced by the country hero Tariq Rahman.
