The tournament’s most successful team, Brazil, defeated Argentina 8-2 in the Copa America of CONMEBOL Beach Football to reach the semi-finals of the tournament. Brazil beat Argentina in the last match of Group ‘A’ to become the group champion. On the other hand, despite losing to Brazil, Argentina secured the semi-finals by becoming the runners-up of the group.

Beach soccer is very popular in South America. And Copa America is very popular all over the world. Due to which Beach Copa America was inaugurated in 2016. The fourth season is underway in 2023. In addition to Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia confirmed the semi-finals.

Brazil will face defending champions Paraguay in the first semi-final on Saturday in a bid to reach the final. Next day (March 19) hosts Argentina against Colombia.

Paraguay is the current champion of beach soccer’s Copa America. However, the most successful country in this tournament is Brazil. They have won the title twice out of three times. On the other hand, Argentina is yet to taste the title.
