Expatriate Welfare Minister Imran at the bedside of ailing Mayor Arif

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Central Executive Committee member and Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Ariful Haque Chowdhury rushed to Dhaka United Hospital in the capital to see Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Minister Imran Ahmad MP.
The minister visited the United Hospital on Wednesday (March 15) evening and inquired about the health condition of the ailing Mayor Arif and prayed for his speedy recovery.
It is known that Sylhet City Corporation (SSIC) Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury fell ill last Sunday night. He was admitted to a private hospital in the city that night. He was kept under close observation there, but after seeing the reports of various tests to solve his heart problem, the doctors admitted him to Dhaka United Hospital for better treatment. Ariful Haque Chowdhury is suffering from diabetes, hypertension and gastritis.
Meanwhile, Minister of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Imran Ahmad MP said to the media workers, “I went to United Hospital after receiving the news of Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury’s illness. The Mayor’s physical condition is fairly normal. Wishing you a speedy recovery. May he recover quickly and return to us.
Meanwhile, his wife Shyama Haque Chowdhury has asked the citizens of the city to pray for the speedy recovery of Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury.
