Border Guard Bangladesh has distributed winter clothes in Grassland area of Chapainawabganj. Chapainawabganj Battalion 53 BGB distributed blankets among the poor people of Grassland area bordering Dosh Rosiya village of Paka Union No. 12 of Shibganj Upazila of the district at 11:00 on Sunday (January 21).

In this regard, a press release sent on Sunday informed that the Border Guard Bangladesh has been participating in all kinds of humanitarian activities of the people along the border in addition to performing the duty of guarding the border. As a part of this, Chapainawabganj 53 BGB captain Lt. Col. Md. Nahid Hossain distributed 200 blankets as winter clothes among the cold victims on Sunday. BOP commander of Wahedpur BOP and BGB members of various ranks and local dignitaries were present in the blanket distribution ceremony.
