The police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from the side of Asian highway road in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj. The body was recovered from Raghurampur area of ​​the upazila on Tuesday (January 9) afternoon.
Locals said that after seeing the body of a young man lying on the side of the highway, the locals informed the police. Later, the police went and recovered the body from the spot.
According to police and local sources, one eye of the deceased was removed. And there are marks of injuries in different parts of the body. However, the identity of the recovered body is yet to be found. The body has been sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy. Preparations are underway to file a case at Rupganj Police Station.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rupganj Police Station Deepak Chandra Saha confirmed the matter.
