Rabindranath is in the hearts of Bengalis

The 163rd birth anniversary of world poet Rabindranath Tagore has been celebrated at Sunamganj under the initiative of Sunamkantha Sahitya Parishad.  On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held at ‘Dainik Sunamkantha’ office in Muktarpara of the city on Wednesday evening in memory of Rabindra.  Lecturer Dulal Mia presided over the meeting.
In this, the main speaker spoke – Assistant Professor of Sunamganj Government College Md. Zakir Hossain.  The special speaker in the meeting – writer, poet and researcher Sukhendu Sen and assistant professor of Shahjalal University of Shantiganj upazila Enamul Kabir.
General Secretary of Sunamkantha Sahitya Parishad,  Directed by teacher Anup Narayan Talukdar at the meeting held under the chairmanship of the organization’s vice-president teacher Sazaur Rahman and Ahmad Noor Albab, finance secretary Shah Md. Kamruzzaman, Member Teacher Subal Bishwash , Habibullah Askir Talukder, Teacher Bikash Chanda, Lucky Biswas, Haider Ali, Abdur Rob.
Speakers in the discussion meeting said that all the thoughts and diversity of Bengali life have been presented by Kabiguru in writing, music and poetry.  His literary works, music, philosophy of life, humanity, thoughts – everything inspires to be a true Bengali, a true human being.
Rabindranath Tagore is a rare figure who roams almost all branches of art and literature.  He has spread unique light in various fields including stories, poems, essays, novels, songs, short stories, paintings.
Rabithakure worked for social development.  Worked for the welfare of people. Rabindranath is in the hearts of Bengalis.  He will live in the hearts of people for thousands of years through his creations.
Speakers also said that the life philosophy of universal poet Rabindranath Tagore and his works will forever inspire Bengalis in building a non-communal Bangladesh free from exploitation and deprivation.  Rabindranath is inextricably linked with Bengali existence and spirit.  Rabindranath’s song became a source of inspiration in our great liberation war.  Rabindra’s literature faithfully conveys the sufferings, joys and pains of the people of eternal Bengal.
Rabithakure spent his entire life in writing.  As a result, the number of his creations is huge.  He wrote 52 poetry books, 38 plays, 13 novels, 36 essays and 95 short stories.  Apart from this, the number of songs composed by him is about two thousand.  Not only that, his talent as a painter was also unique.  He painted about two and a half thousand pictures during his lifetime.
Paying deep respect to his immortal memory on the birth anniversary of the great poet, the speakers said, Rabindranath Tagore is the main representative of Bengali spirit and mind.  He is also world renowned as a sociologist and humanist philosopher.  He is also one of the shapers of Bengali nationalism.
