Miscreants set fire to a parked bus in Narayanganj. The incident took place on Sunday (December 24) at the Fatulla signboard area on the side of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. On receiving the information, the fire service personnel came and extinguished the fire. However, there were no casualties.
Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service Station, Fakhruddin Ahmed said, two units of Adamji Fire Service went to the spot and tried to put out the fire after receiving information about a bus parked in the signboard area around 2:30 am. Before this, the bus seat, window glass were all burnt in the fire.
Noore Azam, officer-in-charge of Fatulla Model Police Station, said miscreants set fire to an Anabil Transport bus on the side of the highway, but no casualty was reported in the fire. Legal action will be taken against whoever is involved in this incident.
