In the last 24 hours (from Monday 8 am to Tuesday 8 am), 13 more people died due to dengue fever in the country. With this, a total of 340 people died of dengue this year.

Apart from this, another 2 thousand 742 people were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours.

Directorate of Health informed this information in the press release sent to the media on Tuesday.

This year, a total of 72 thousand 225 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever. Among them 37 thousand 722 people from Dhaka.

According to the data of the Department of Health, the total number of deaths from dengue last year was 281 people and the total number of infected people was 62 thousand 382 people.
