Awami League candidate Md. won by a huge margin in Chittagong-10 seat by-election. Mohiuddin Bachchu.

The results were announced after the counting of votes at the gymnasium adjacent to MA Aziz Stadium in the city on Sunday (July 30) night.

The results obtained show that Mohiuddin Bachchu, the candidate of the boat symbol, received 34,163 votes out of 156 polling stations. His nearest rival candidate of Jatiya Party. Samsul Alam got 1 thousand 3 votes with plow symbol.

4 lakh 88 thousand 633 voters will exercise their right to vote in this election. Among them 2 lakh 48 thousand 929 male and 2 lakh 39 thousand 680 female voters.
