Awami League nominated candidate Sazzadul Hasan submitted his nomination papers on Monday afternoon on the last day of filing nomination papers for Netrakona-4 (Madan-Mohanganj-Khaliajuri) constituency. District Election Officer Golam Mostafa said that Awami League nominated candidate Sazzadul Hasan submitted his nomination papers along with party leaders and workers in a festive atmosphere.

Sazzadul Hasan said, if elected, I will devote myself to the development of the area. I am committed to advance the development work that is going on in the area.

It is to be noted that on July 11, the member of parliament of this seat, Rebecca Momin, died, and on July 15, the Election Commission declared the seat vacant and scheduled the election.
