Residents of Sylhet suburbs have formed a human chain to protest the low-quality construction materials and corruption in the construction of the Khadim Choumuhani-Sahib Bazar road.

This standard was organized by the residents of Chaumuhani on Friday.

Speakers in the rally organized at that time said that the work of this road was completed a month ago. But this road is now collapsing. They have already complained to various departments including LGED, Anti-Corruption Commission.

They said that low-quality bricks were used on the road, the thickness was low, carpeting was not done according to proper rules in three culverts, sand layer was not provided from Bagan Bazar to Barjan Tea Factory, ruling without carpeting from Barjan Bagan to the north, low-quality pillars on the guard wall on the side of the road. , the soil is not filled on both sides. By this the road is collapsing. The people of the area are suffering a lot during the current monsoon season.

In the human chain, they complained of irregularities and corruption in vaccination and demanded justice. At the same time, he demanded to rebuild the roads and culverts in the correct manner as soon as possible.
