None of the three sons see their mother. As there was no curry, he went to Mirganj market to buy it. And this is what happened to mother Sufiar Begum. Locals expressed their grief over the fact that the child fenced in front of the mother’s residence.

It is known that when a senior teacher named Lutfar Rahman died five years ago, his 70-year-old wife Sufia Begum was living with her three sons in the same house. After the marriage of all three sons, they started living separately with their mother Sufia Begum. The middle son Mustafa and the younger son Matiyur are separated and the elder son Shafiqul stays at home.

Locals say that Khan Ma Sufia Begum has been separated for three years. Three boys stay away from paying expenses, they don’t even keep track of any information. Earlier, the boys also beat the mother. Sufia Begum’s days are somehow spent with what the four married daughters give. However, the mother has no complaints about the children.

A few days ago, since there was no fresh produce at home, he went to buy some useful products including pepper, onion, potato, etc., saying that they can be found at cheap prices in Mirganj market. Burka and hijab were also worn. Standing at the corner of the market, he bought the products through a local nephew and returned home. But Shafiqul Islam, the elder son, found out about it and abused him at night. Shafiqul also beat his wife when she said that her mother-in-law went to spend with the curtain. After waking up at seven in the morning, he made a tin fence in front of the house saying that he would not see his mother’s face again. It can be seen that the boys’ houses have electricity and CCTV cameras, but the mother’s houses do not have those facilities.

Meanwhile, when mother Sufia Begum told the local UP chairman Aminul Islam about the fence in front of the house, he sat down with the local dignitaries to solve the problem. He asked to apologize to his mother. But when Shafiqul, the elder son, did not apologise, but dismissed his mother’s statement as an advertisement, the chairman and others left the scene.

Local businessmen Abdus Samad, Aminul Islam and former member Haider Ali said that such activities of the child with the mother will send a negative message to the society. They are saying, “Let all the people of the village respect and see how the boys ate chaire dangay behe! There is no justice in the country? Iglaya needs to be punished more.”

Mother Sufia Begum said, “May Allah guide the children, “The wife of Mezh boy Mustafa has beaten her and tore her blouse earlier. I went to Mirganj to buy Taritakarri as no one inquired. When the elder son found out, he abused and fenced in front of the house. May Allah grant them wisdom.”

Expressing grief over such misbehavior of the child with the mother, concerned UP Chairman Aminul Islam said, “I sat down with the locals to find out that the son had fenced in front of the mother’s house. I told the elder son to apologize to his mother. But the sad thing is, he didn’t ask for forgiveness, instead he behaved discourteously in front of everyone.”

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Masudur Rahman also expressed regret about the matter. He said, “I will take action if I complain. Still I am talking to the chairman. After that, he said that if there is a widow or old age allowance, he will do the same.
