Conspiracies will not be tolerated in Sisik elections: Babul

Nazrul Islam Babul, the mayoral candidate nominated by the Jatiya Party in the Sylhet City Corporation election, said that if the election is fair, no one will be able to stop the victory of Langal. Conspiracy of any kind will not be tolerated. I am apprehensive about EVM from the beginning. Because common people know very little about EVM. Election Commission should make common people aware about EVMs.

He said the above words while responding to the various questions of the journalists and responding to the voters during a public meeting with local residents and businessmen at Shibganj Bazar in the city on Monday (June 5) at 12 noon.

He also said in response to the questions of the journalists, I am not considering anyone as an opponent in the election. People will judge who will be the servants of the city in the future. But I believe that the people of this city will no longer believe in empty bullies. In response to another question, he said, neither my party nor I support terrorists. I don’t believe in terror dam, people know well who are terrorists. He appealed to the businessmen and city dwellers to vote for him in the upcoming June 21 election with the plow symbol to make the city clean and beautiful.

Jatiya Party chairman’s advisor Monirul Islam Milan, Abdullah Siddiqui, Central Vice Chairman and former Parliament Munim Chowdhury Babu, Central Committee Joint Secretary General Fakhrul Ahsan Shahzada, Central Organizing Secretary and Sylhet District Branch Member Secretary Saifuddin Khaled, Metropolitan Branch Member Secretary Abdus were present during the mass meeting. Leaders of Jatiya Party organs and affiliated organizations including Shaheed Lashkar Bashir.
