The 12th anniversary of the weekly Kamalganj paper published from Kamalganj is celebrated. On Friday (March 31) at 10 pm, the editor-publisher of the newspaper and the mayor of Kamalganj. Under the chairmanship of Jewel Ahmed and chief editor Mostafizur Rahman, discussion meeting and cake cutting were held. Chairman Kamalganj Upazila Parishad was the chief guest on the occasion, the freedom fighter Alhaj Professor Rafiqur Rahman. Kamalganj upazila executive officer Sifat Uddin, Kamalganj police station officer in-charge Sanjay Chakraborty, Moulvibazar zilla parishad member principal Helal Uddin, prominent writer-researcher Ahmed Siraj, president of Kamalganj press club Biswajit Roy, editor of weekly Kamalganj newspaper Sanwar Hossain were special guests.
Among others, Upazila Mofswal Journalist Forum President Subrata Deb Roy (Sanjay), Kamalganj Journalist Association President Nurul Mohaimin Milton, Kamalkundi Newspaper Editor Pintu Debnath, Journalist MA Wahid Rulu, Shabbir Elahi Prumukh spoke. Journalists Praneet Ranjan Debnath, Sajidur Rahman, Abdur Razzaq Raja, Ashabuzzaman Shaon, Ahmeduzzaman Alam, Nirmal S. Palash, Salahuddin Shubo Ruhul Islam Hriday, Sadiqur Rahman Samu, Parvez Ahmed, Abdus Salam, Monayem Khan, Tofazzal Ahmed and others were present among others.

At the beginning of the program, journalists from various circles greeted the editor of weekly Kamalganj paper with flowers. After that, the guests and journalists present from Kamalganj’s paper family were dressed in northern clothes. Finally, the 12th foundation anniversary cake of weekly Kamalganj paper was cut.
