Argentina has sent a jersey gift to Bangladesh national team Test and T20 captain Shakib Al Hasan.

Hernan Finnell and Allison Stokes, captains of the country’s boys and girls national cricket teams, sent the gift.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed the matter. Shakib took a picture holding the jersey of the Argentina national cricket team.

Which has been published on BCB’s social media Facebook page. The captain of Argentina men’s and women’s team sent jerseys and wished the Bangladesh team well.

Many fans of Bangladesh have supported Lionel Messi’s Argentina in Qatar World Cup. The matter drew praise from Argentina national team players and coaching staff. Argentina also responded. Based on which Argentina fans also started following Bangladesh cricket. Sending the jersey to Shakib is part of that.
