Extensive campaigning is going on across the district to attract spectators to the Police Super Gold Cup Cricket Tournament in Moulvibazar.

On Monday (February 27) the campaign is being carried out in different places of Srimangal upazila in a pick-up decorated with colorful banner festoons to increase the attendance of the tournament. After the campaign in Kamalganj upazila of the district in the afternoon, the pickup Shubhayatra of the campaign campaigned in different places of Srimangal upazila. Later the attractive golden trophy of the tournament was brought to Srimangal police station.

Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy, Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajiv Mahmud Mithun, Srimangal Thana Officer in-charge Md. Jahangir Hossain Sardar, Khwab Srimangal Branch President Delwar Hossain Rahid, Upazila Fishermen’s League President Ashikur Rahman Ashiq and others spoke during the trophy display.
Also, various levels of officials of Srimangal police station were present on the occasion.

Jahangir Hossain Sardar said that the tournament will be inaugurated on March 1 at the district stadium organized by Moulvibazar District Sports Association and the final match will be held on March 4. One team from each upazila of the district will participate in this tournament. Extensive publicity is being done across the district to make the tournament a success.
