Big Boss Crowded cricket tournament is going on in Bandarban.This Tournament (Season One) was inaugurated in colorful arrangements on last fryday.The auspicious inauguration of this tournament was held at the Bandarban District Stadium ground.Acting General Secretary of District Sports Association Mujibur Rashid was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony.Convener of the tournament management committee Emdad Ali presided over the opening ceremony.

Executive Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Dr.Ziaul Islam Majumdar,member of District Sports Association Dilip Kumar Dey,member Abu Taher Tipu,sports organizer Azharul Islam Babul were present as special guests.In the opening ceremony,the guests said that sports keep people’s minds fresh and healthy.There is no alternative to sports to keep the youth away from drug addiction.

The guests expressed hope that the tournament will be competitive with the spontaneous participation of all.The guests wished and congratulated all the members of all the teams participating in the tournament.LGED vs Bandarban Gladiators in the opening match of the tournament organized in knockout format.Bandarban Gladiators won the game by 7 wickets. Md.Akib became the man of the match.In the second game of the tournament, Cricket Khor Battalion Chittagong won by 121 runs.Shamim Alam was selected as the man of the match.In the third day’s play, Islampur Sporting Club won by 7 wickets. Tanveer was selected as the best player of the Match.

After a long time,16 teams are participating in this tournament organized by the joint efforts of local sports organizers and former players.Incidentally,online daily CHT Times.com and Bandarban Tribune.com, the first English online daily of Bandarban district, are working as the official media partners of BigBoss Cricket Tournament.
