Science Fair-2023 was held at Srimangal Government College with the theme “Science and Technology, the Power of Progress”.
Science Mela-2023 was held on Thursday (May 18) at Srimangal Government College Auditorium. The science club of the college organizes this day-long science fair. Under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Sheel, convenor of the science fair management committee, Srimangal Government College principal Professor Deep Chan Kanu was present as the chief guest, college vice-principal Professor Rafi Ahmad Chowdhury, teacher’s council secretary Bijan Chandra Debnath were present as special guests.
Md. Abdul Noor won the first prize by presenting the project of hatching chicks from eggs in the incubator in the science fair held with the participation of the students of science department of Srimangal Government College. Baishakhi Rahman Koli, Pooja Bhadra Prama, Mandira Sinha came second by presenting Bangabandhu Satellite.
In the beginning, there was auspicious opening and procession of the fair at the parade ground. This was followed by quiz competitions, science video screenings and science lectures.
