Fake journalist arrested in Sylhet’s Osmaninagar

Police arrested a fake journalist in Osmani Nagar, Sylhet.
He was arrested from Goalabazar of the upazila at around 7:30 pm on Saturday.
The arrested Kawsar Ahmed (30) is the son of Hasan Ali of Khadimpur village of Umarpur union.
According to police sources, around 7 pm on Saturday, M Rubel Enterprise in South Goalabazar entered the shop of Bhangari with a camera, recorded video inside the shop and introduced himself as a journalist. Then when the people present along with the owner of the shop AH Rubel asked to show his identity card, he could not show any identity card. On receiving the information, the police arrested him and brought him to the police station.
A case was registered against him on Sunday morning. Main Uddin, OCSM of Osmaninagar police station confirmed that he will be sent to the court in the afternoon.
