BGB Day celebration in Chapainawabganj

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Day was celebrated in Chapainawabganj on Tuesday. On the occasion of the day, Chapainawabganj Battalion (53 BGB) and Rahanpur Battalion (59 BGB) organized flag hoisting, milad and special prayers, cake cutting, feast and cultural programs separately.

53 BGB’s headquarters in Kalyanpur organized in the event, the captain of 53 BGB Lt. Colonel Md. Nahid Hossain welcomed the guests. Chapainawabganj Superintendent of Police AHM Abdur Rakib, Additional District Magistrate Asif Ahmed and other invited guests were present in the event.

On the other hand, acting captain Major Shahriar Alam welcomed the guests at 59 BGB headquarters Gobratla. Invited guests including doctors, lawyers, businessmen participated in the event. Later a reception was organized.

BGB members and their families participated in both the events. Before cutting the cake, the glorious history of BGB was highlighted.
