Sylhet District Press Club member Subarna Hamid’s father, renowned bowler Abdul Hamid, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Sylhet Bureau Chief of English national daily Morningglory and editor-publisher of CNBangladesh.com online newspaper Arun Sarkar. In a condolence message, he prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Baul Abdul Hamid was a very talented artist and lyricist. All his life he has practiced healthy culture. Many of his songs are still sung by the human voice. He will live forever in the hearts of culture lovers.
