The District Administration and District Police Superintendent Office paid tribute to the martyrs on the Great Independence and National Day in Moulvibazar.

On Sunday, 26th March, the district administration paid tribute to Shahid Minar with flowers under the leadership of Moulvibazar District Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan. Later the parade was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner. Moulvibazar-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Neshar Ahmad was present at the time.
Also, the Moulvibazar district police paid tribute by placing wreaths at the central memorial and mass graves. At 5.51 am, the policemen working in the district police under the leadership of District Police Superintendent Mohammad Zakaria paid tribute to the martyrs of the freedom war by placing wreaths at the Moulvibazar Central Memorial and later at the mass grave located on Shah Mostafa Road. Moulvibazar District Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabder, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Sudarshan Kumar Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohsin, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mahmudul Hasan and District Police members of different ranks of the police.
