Two anti-corruption meetings were held in every union of Srimangal

An anti-corruption exchange meeting was held with the elected representatives of 9 unions of Srimangal Upazila of Moulvibazar under the slogan “Say No to Corruption” under the initiative of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee (DUPRAC).
On Tuesday (March 21) at 11 am, this exchange meeting was completed at the 9 union level of the upazila with the last meeting at Satgaon Union Parishad No. 9 of the upazila.
Under the overall direction of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), an independent anti-corruption organization of the government, and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee (DUPRAC), a social organization of the ACC, the meeting was chaired by Chairman of Satgaon Union Parishad No. 9 Debashish Deb Rakhu. Upazila Duprak President Senior Journalist Syed Nesar Ahmed, Vice President ANM Wahiduzzaman, Member Journalist Md. Kawshar Iqbal attended the meeting under the direction of DUPRAC member journalist Syed Chayed Ahmed.
UP member Ishwar Kalini (Lalbabu), independent chasha, Vikas Dutta, women member Pratima Das and general secretary of Upazila Advocacy Network Dilip Kumar Kairi etc. spoke in the open discussion meeting.
Also, all UP members, local community clinic leaders, dignitaries of the area and service recipients were also present in the exchange meeting. Corruption was imposed on them, the speakers said. Corruption occurs because of the system of government. The people of the government, the educated people, the people of the administration are corrupting the government. They called for an end to corruption from above and demanded strict legal action against corruption.
