Moulvibazar District Auto Tempu, Auto Rickshaw, Mishuk, CNG Paribahan Sramik Union Reg No. Chatt-2359 under Srimangal Upazila Branch Sindurkhan Road CNG Sramik Management Committee Tri-Annual Election 2023 has been held.

The election was held at South Balishira KG School in Sindurkhan UP on Saturday (March 18).

Polling will continue continuously from 8 am to 4 pm. Chief Election Commissioner Srimangal Upazila Chairman Bhanulal Roy, Assistant Commissioner Maklishur Rahman Khalis, Srimangal Upazila Branch President Abdus Salam and General Secretary Md Salauddin served as member secretaries. Out of 858 voters, 769 voters cast their votes. 25 candidates contested in 9 posts. Md. Ahsanul Haque Sumon (Pineapple) got 592 votes for the post of President and Md. Zainal Abedin (Candle) got 451 votes for the post of General Secretary. Besides, Vice President Shaheen Alam (Bus) 287, Co-Editor Md. Jasim Uddin (Mango) 418, Organizing Secretary Md. Suhail Mia (Elephant) 461, Office Secretary Md. Babul Mia (Pig) 344, Publicity Secretary Md. Abu Sufian (Pigeon). 314, Finance Secretary Anu Miah (Minar) 460 and Executive Member Md Achid Ali (Balti) won by getting 299 votes. Srimangal Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Haji Liton Ahmed, Female Vice Chairman Mitali Dutta, Sindurkhan UP Chairman Yachin Arafat Rabin, Acting Chairman Abu Khair Siddique Murad, District Labor Union General Secretary Salim Ahmed, Sindurkhan Bazar Jame Masjid President Md Ful Mia, Bazar. Committee secretary Fatik Miah, former secretary Amin Miah, leaders of CNG Sramik Union upazila branch, leaders and activists of Sramik Union Rezinong-1223 observed the election.
Chief Election Commissioner Bhanulal Roy said that CC cameras were arranged in polling stations to ensure free, fair, neutral and chaotic elections. He thanked everyone for the election being completed without any untoward incident. Srimangal Thana police, Moulvibazar police line members and village police performed the duty to maintain law and order. The ballot boxes are opened and counted in front of the candidates or their designated agents, upazila, district labor leaders, election officials, law enforcement agencies and media personnel.
