Life changed by shelter house

Rashida Begum (35), daughter of deceased Shamsul Akan of Ward No. 1, Shaulpara Union, Sadar Upazila, Shariatpur District, mother of a daughter who was abandoned by her husband and landless used to work in other people’s houses and used to pay eight hundred taka as rent. She admitted his class seven daughter in a school near the rented house. Working at home, at the end of the month, the mother had to struggle to pay for the house rent, food for her daughter and school expenses of her daughter. Prime Minister’s shelter project has brought a change in the life of Rashida Begum, a helpless landless person. Rashida Begum (35) came to know from her elder sister that Prime Minister gives landless houses along with land. Then she went to Shaulpara Union Chairman Mannan Khan Bhasani and gave the documents. Shariatpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jyoti Bikas Chandra said that this is how Prime Minister has changed the course of their lives by giving houses along with land deeds for all the helpless landless people of Bangladesh.
