National Insurance Day was celebrated at Kumarkhali in Kushtia with the theme “My life is my wealth, insurance is safe”. On Wednesday (March 01) at 10:30 am., the event started with a rally and ended with a discussion meeting. On the occasion of the day, the rally started from the front of the Upazila Parishad building and ended at the Parishad gate. Officials and field workers of various insurance related organizations participated in the rally. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad meeting room. At that time Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Bitan Kumar Mandal, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Md. Amirul Arafat, Social Service Officer Mohammad Ali, Heroic freedom fighter Chand Ali, Jiban Bima Corporation Kumarkhali Branch Manager Abdul Malek, Delta Life Insurance Kumarkhali Branch Manager Abdul Haque, Assistant Manager of National Life Insurance Company’s Kumarkhali branch Abdul Majed and others. Apart from this, fire service officials and employees of various insurance offices and journalists were also present.
