Two institutions were fined in lakhs

A fine of Tk 20,000 has been paid to 2 organizations in the operation of mobile courts in Lakhai of Habiganj. These are – Sani Food and Bakery in Bullabazar and Miran Shah Food and Bakery in Kalauk Road Bazaar. A total fine of 20 thousand taka has been collected from each of these 2 institutions.
On Monday (February 27) at 10 am, Assistant Director of BSTI Directorate Shaon Kumar Dhar and Lakhai Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Nahida Sultana imposed a fine of Tk 20,000 on those 2 institutions and ordered them to be imprisoned for three days without work for non-payment.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Lakhai Police Station Mridul Kumar Bhowmik and Sangeet Police Force provided full support to the mobile court.
