Billal Hossain, Jamalpur: Gifts, crests and cash were given to the family members of Jamalpur district policemen who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Superintendent of Police Nashir Uddin Ahmed handed over these on behalf of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun BPM (Bar) PPM at the office of Superintendent of Police Jamalpur on Monday on the occasion of Police Memorial Day 2023. Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Masud Anwar, Additional Superintendent of Police Zakir Hossain Sumon, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Swajal Kumar Sarkar, and many others were present on the occasion. Note that on Police Memorial Day, the policemen who gave their lives in the line of duty are remembered with deep respect. Their families are given gifts and honored.
