An expatriate Bangladeshi named Mohammad Abdul Momin was killed in a road accident in Portugal. The incident happened on the IP-7 road of the capital Lisbon on Wednesday night local time. His house is in Madhavpur village of Chatak upazila of Sunamganj district.

It is known that Momin was going for food delivery on a bicycle on IP-7, the busiest street of Lisbon around 9 pm on Wednesday. At that time, his bicycle collided with a private car. Police, fire service personnel and doctors immediately reached the spot. There the doctor declared Momin dead. His death has cast a shadow of mourning on the Bangladeshi community in Lisbon and Portugal.
