27 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. Among them, two have been transferred from Sylhet.

On Wednesday (January 18), a notification was issued in this regard from the Police Branch-1 of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Sirajam Munira, Deputy Secretary, Public Security Department, Ministry of Home Affairs signed the notification on the orders of the President.

Deputy Commissioner of Metropolitan Police (SMP) among the two transferred from Sylhet. Kamrul Amin has been transferred as Superintendent of Police at Dhaka Headquarters of Armed Police Battalion and SP Abul Bashar Mohammad Atiqur Rahman of Tourist Police Unit Sylhet Region as Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police.
