At the end of Srimangal there is a three-day long international dance festival

The International Dance Festival 2023 has concluded at Srimangal in Moulvibazar with the participation of several dance organizations from Bangladesh, India and Nepal.

The event ended auspiciously at 12 pm on Saturday at the Srimangal Zila Parishad Auditorium with the distribution of awards, honors and the performance of Kolkata Zee Bangla Nayak Gazi Abdun Noor.

The closing ceremony was attended as the chief guest, the former Chief Whip of the National Assembly Dr. Abdus Shaheed MP.

Director of Srimangal Cultural Academy Bikul Chakraborty spoke as special guests as Gazi Andun Noor, hero actor of Kolkata Rani Rasmani serial, dance guru Nilufar Wahid Pappi of Dhaka, dance guru Deepa Khandkar, dance guru MR Wasek and dance guru Suman Mondal of Kolkata. Conducted by dance guru Anita Dev, Srimangal dance director Dweep Dutt Akash gave the welcome speech.

Apart from this, Bittu Mandal, Director of Bittu Dance Company of Kolkata, Kolkata, dance guru Kohinur Sen Barak, Jayashree Foundation Director Jayashree Das, teachers Zahar Tarafdar, Bulbul Anam, Muminul Hossain Suhel and Subrata Chakraborty were also present. Director of Srimangal Dance Club, Dwip Dutta, Akash said that a total of 46 groups including 20 from Bangladesh, 25 from India and one from Nepal participated in this three-day dance festival. It should be noted that Moulvibazar Zilla Parishad Chairman Michbahur Rahman inaugurated this festival on January 12. Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest of the second day program on January 13.
