Member of the BNP Standing Committee. Abdul Moin Khan said, ‘Bangladesh became independent to establish democracy. Because there was no democracy in Pakistan. Now it is sad to say that Awami League has exiled that democracy from the country. If Awami League is a pro-independence force, why did they abandon democracy, the main element of independence? We must come out of the delusion of power.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at BNP’s departmental mass location program at Rajshahi’s Bhubanmohan Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Dr. Moin Khan said, Awami League does not do what it says. And what he does, he doesn’t say. They talk about democracy. But works like a dictatorship. If Awami League comes back to power on the path of democracy, through fair elections, I will congratulate them.

Adviser to the Chairperson Mizanur Rahman Minu, Rajshahi Divisional Organizing Secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu were special guests in the mass-arrangement function under the chairmanship of Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP convener Ershad Ali Isha. BNP leaders and activists of various districts and upazilas of the department participated in the program.
