BNP has received permission for public gathering on one side of the road in front of the party office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka. The party will hold a four-hour sit-in program tomorrow, Wednesday.

BNP Vice Chairman Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain told this information to reporters.

He said, “We will hold a sit-in program in front of our central office in Nayapaltan from 10 am to 2 pm. We also got permission from the police. We will do this program peacefully.

Earlier, he went to the DMP office with the party’s legal affairs secretary, Barrister Kaiser Kamal. They held a meeting with the commissioner.

Meanwhile, DMP Commissioner Khandkar Golam Farooq told reporters that they have been asked to carry out the program by keeping the traffic flowing normally. If there is a disruption in the traffic, they have to take the responsibility.

Incidentally, BNP will hold sit-in programs in Dhaka and other divisional cities on Wednesday with 10-point demands, including the government’s resignation. Earlier, the party has also held a mass march simultaneously with the same demand.
