Sri Lanka had to set a record to win the last T20 of the three-match series. The Lankans fell down to make history.

The team led by Dasun Shana was bowled out for 137 runs in 16.4 overs in a 229 run mountain. Sri Lanka lost the series 2-1 after losing by a big margin of 91 runs due to a batting disaster. Kushal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka scored maximum 23 runs for the team. Dhananjaya de Silva scored 22 runs.

Batting first, India built a mountain of 228 runs for 5 wickets at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Saturday. Suryakumar Yadav scored 112 runs off 51 balls with seven fours and nine sixes for the team.

Besides, opener Shubman Gill scored 46 runs off 36 balls. Rahul Tripathi scored 35 runs off 16 balls. At the end of the innings, Aksar Patel played a stormy innings of 21 runs off just 9 balls.
